The commission, chaired by Drusilla Henson and including Conservation Agent John Jannell, approved the warrant article request after debating figures ranging from $80,000 to $150,000, with Member Judith Bruce moving the final amount and Member Dick Hilmer seconding; Hilmer cited rising project costs and the lesson of the Putnam barn project, saying "prices are going up steadily and next thing you know we're caught once again." The commission also unanimously approved a raze-and-rebuild at 199 Namequoit Road for applicant John H.
