Orleans Economic Development Committee Endorses Draft Town Brand Package

ORLEANS — January 27, 2026 — Orleans Economic Development Committee backs town branding package after year-long design process. The committee reviewed a first draft of the Town of Orleans Brand Standards Guide at its January 27 meeting, produced by Sandwich-based Super Et Studio following an engagement process that drew roughly 35 respondents to a request for qualifications and included four stakeholder meetings, a public session, and a community survey. The package establishes a primary "Orleans blue" logo, a re-illustrated town seal in modern digital formats, Montserrat as the primary typeface, and department-level header treatments for the Fire Department, Police Department, Council on Aging, DPW, and Recreation Department — all framed explicitly as a complement to, not a replacement for, the existing town seal. Committee member Andrea noted the branding effort resolves more than a decade of stalled wayfinding work that began in 2012 through the Cape Cod Commission. The guide is expected to go before the Select Board within weeks.
