Orleans Zoning Board continues special permit case. The board unanimously voted to extend the hearing for John H. Ferring, IV's application to exceed the 4,000-square-foot building-coverage limit under Zoning Bylaw Section 164-44 to May 6, 2026.
The single-family dwelling proposal at 199 Namequoit Road includes a detached garage, landscaping, grading, utilities, septic system modifications, and driveway work, with the structure pulled back from the coastal bank. Applicant family member Allison Ferring stated the proposed size was smaller than neighboring properties.
