ORLEANS — Wastewater Management Advisory Committee reviews Mill Pond nitrogen removal alternatives and sewer project status. The seven-member committee, chaired by Select Board member Kevin Galligan, examined Wright-Pierce nitrogen removal requirements data and considered the Community that Cares fertilizer control program. AECOM consultant Tim Harrison reported on Phase 2 sewer construction testing and Phase 4 Discharge Permit progress.

The committee deferred town meeting funding requests to February 26 and approved a draft memo recommending next steps to the Select Board.
