Orleans Transportation and Bikeways Advisory Committee unanimously approves prior minutes, prioritizes single-sidewalk option for Beach Road. Chair Peter Allgeier directed Deputy Director Calvin Sutton to request that engineering firm VHB prepare a design minimizing property takings, with the committee favoring continuous sidewalk placement on one side of the road. Member Stephanie Gaskill flagged that the Capital Improvement Plan still lists Main Street sidewalk construction at 2031 rather than the preferred 2028-2029 timeframe; George Meservey of Planning suggested the committee request a presentation from Sutton and Rich Waldo of the Department of Public Works on DPW project timelines, scheduled for May-June-July.
