ORLEANS — Snow Library trustees elected new leadership and formed a subcommittee to explore renovation alternatives. Lindsey Malatesta Goodman was elected chair, Tracy O. Murphy was elected vice chair, and Mark Ziomek was elected corresponding secretary, all by unanimous 6-0 votes.
Outgoing Chair James Balliett reported that recent town approvals for a $55 million fire station, plus new police and DPW building projects, may constrain library funding. The board approved the subcommittee to explore whether to build new or renovate the current facility, with design phase planned for 2028.
