ORLEANS — Planning Board reorganized. Debra Oakes was unanimously named Chair, Lynne Eickholt Vice Chair, and Francesca Galazzi Clerk, replacing outgoing Chairman John Ostman. Ostman praised board members' work on the Orleans Local Comprehensive Plan, certified June 25 by the Cape Cod Commission as consistent with regional policy.
The board unanimously endorsed two Approval Not Required property divisions: a land swap at 24 and 18 Sturbridge Road for the Cynthia L. Sullivan Revocable Trust and a lot split at 170 Route 6A LLC. Peter Polhemus was announced for elevation from Associate Member to Regular Member, pending July 15 Select Board approval.
