Orleans Planning Board approved its prior minutes and received updates on the Comprehensive Plan and design guidelines. Chairman John Ostman led the hybrid meeting as Planning Department staff reported that the final draft of the Comprehensive Plan has not yet been received from consultants Tighe and Bond. Elizabeth Jenkins described a Building Types Guidebook Project designed to update the 2017 Design Guidelines following recent zoning modernization, incorporating form-based code to prioritize design and support housing production.
Liaison reports indicated wastewater construction is progressing through Phases 1 and 2, with Phase 3 scheduled for bid.
