ORLEANS — Planning Board approves prior minutes and receives small business survey results. Economic Development Coordinator Amanda Converse presented findings from the 2025-2026 Orleans Small Business Survey, which collected 101 responses from businesses across 19 distinct industries, designed to understand local needs and inform economic development priorities. The Board also heard from Planning Department Staff George Meservey regarding Chapter 91 Waterways Application No 25-WW01-0157-APP for 77 Keziah's Lane, noting the Conservation Commission has issued an Order of Conditions.
A draft of the Orleans Comprehensive Plan, with coordination of donated local artwork by Debra Oakes, is anticipated to be available by January 27, 2026.
