ORLEANS — Planning Board approves minutes and updates comprehensive plan progress. George Meservey reported the Orleans Comprehensive Plan, approved at the May 11 Annual Town Meeting, will undergo Cape Cod Commission review on June 22, 2026. Members discussed proposed comments on the Governor Prence Motel property redevelopment at 66 and 76 Route 6A for submission to the Zoning Board of Appeals.

Elizabeth Jenkins outlined a Downtown and Town Cove Resiliency and Placemaking Event Series running June 5 through June 6 at Snow Library and Barley Neck Inn, focused on ecological restoration and walkable community design.
