Orleans Cultural Council approves December minutes, previews 2026 programs. Chair Brian Smith and six members met January 5 to review grant cycles and plan upcoming initiatives. Treasurer Heather Morin reported that all 2024-2025 grants are now accounted for and outlined next steps for current awardees, including Town Hall signage and detailed acceptance letters due by January 16.
The council deferred decisions on several 2026 programs, including the annual art show, to February and agreed to participate in a new Cultural Comprehensive Plan initiative alongside the Recreation and Development departments.
