ORLEANS CONSERVATION BOARD APPROVES THREE RESIDENTIAL PROJECTS

Orleans Conservation Commission approves three residential projects unanimously. The Commission approved repairs to an existing shed and platform at 26 Jack Knife Point Road for Robert H. and Abby C. Summersgill, an interior landing with steps, screened porch, septic tank, and parking areas at 17 Pilgrim Lake Terrace East for Ezra and Maureen Hausman, and pool repairs at 82 Lake Drive for Pablo Parada-Pentz and Courtney Poignand, all with no opposing votes.
The Commission also unanimously approved a letter of support for a Rock Harbor sediment reuse project that would reuse material from dredge projects for beach nourishment. Conservation Agent John Jannell reported that the Select Board has endorsed a $125,000 warrant article for the town's Conservation Fund.
