Orleans Board of Assessors grants 72 motor vehicle excise abatements. The board unanimously approved $513,956.63 in 2026 motor vehicle excise abatements, plus $1,066.24 from 2025 and $180 from 2024, and committed 465 motor vehicle excise bills totaling $194,984.84. In addition, the board approved 11 real estate abatements for $24,953.26 and $748.59 in Community Preservation Act amounts, three real estate exemptions totaling $3,700 and $111 in CPA amounts, one real estate deferral for $5,537.09, and two personal property abatements totaling $58.72.
