Orleans ARC approves three exterior applications unanimously

Architectural Review Committee · Meeting of January 8, 2026

Orleans Architectural Review Committee approves three exterior applications at January 8 meeting. The committee unanimously approved a paint job and signage changes at Stop & Shop on Route 6A, with new backlit signs for Pharmacy and Citizen's Bank in acrylic letters. A second unanimous approval went to the Seashore Park Inn's application to remove PTAC units and replace exterior siding in matching style.

During the meeting, a Select Board member raised questions about compliance of existing lighting on the Stop & Shop building, prompting the committee to agree to add a compliance disclosure question to future applications.
