Historic district panel approves two applications, continues one shed project.

Old King's Highway Regional Historic District Committee · Meeting of May 7, 2026

ORLEANS — Old King's Highway Historic District Committee approves two applications; one deferred. The committee, chaired by Richard Weeks, unanimously approved demolition and replacement of a shed at 2 Beach Plum Lane for Frank Seyboth and approved demolition of a barn at 42 Bridge Road owned by Leonard Sunzeri with a 5-0 vote, on condition that any future replacement reflect the original structure. Daniel Breen's application for a 12-by-18-foot storage shed at 17 Willie Atwood Road was continued pending submission of required elevations.

Four applications automatically approved after 45 days without an April 2 quorum included work at 137 Skaket Beach, 5 Blueberry Island, 6 Bakers Pond, and 239 Rock Harbor.
