Gallery Committee Plans Exhibition Schedule

The Marion Craine Gallery Committee met to plan exhibitions at Snow Library.

Snow Library Board of Trustees · Meeting of September 15, 2026

ORLEANS — The Marion Craine Gallery Committee met to plan exhibitions at Snow Library. Exhibit Coordinator Julie Brooks reported that two artists requested October exhibitions while committee members expressed interest in potential shows from the Cape Cod Pastel Society, the Orleans Pond Coalition, and textile artists. Artist Bernardette Waystack, a retired Cape Cod art teacher working in block prints and pastels, presented her portfolio for potential summer 2027 exhibition; the committee did not vote on her application.

Library Director Tavi Prugno reported the Orleans Community Refrigerator, a food-sharing program in the library vestibule, has been successful since opening, with donated items arriving Tuesdays and consumed by Friday.
