Fourth of July Committee plans 250th anniversary parade

ORLEANS — The Fourth of July Committee selected three parade themes for Orleans' 250th anniversary celebration. Chair Ben Wigren welcomed new associate members Bonnie Hartung and Kristina Mack and directed task assignments for parade preparation. Lynda Prince is leading bins and decorations, Allison Nadeau with Bonnie Hartung and Kristina Mack is coordinating volunteer recruitment, and Tom Cunningham is overseeing new signage.
Band contracts have been distributed to performers. The committee is identifying a Grand Marshal and recruiting additional judges.
