Energy committee hosts training session on solar and efficiency programs

Orleans Energy and Climate Action Committee held a special training session March 12. Chair John Londa presided over presentations on MassSave programs from Cape Light Compact and community solar options from Self Reliance of Falmouth. Self Reliance offers Orleans participants a 15 percent discount on Net Metering Credits under a one-year contract with a $15 annual participation fee.

The committee discussed financial support mechanisms for the Energy Navigator program before adjourning unanimously.
