Orleans Energy Committee discussed joining MassEnergize statewide program. Megan Sullivan and Ariha Jain from MassEnergize presented via Zoom at a special meeting, explaining how their program's focus on climate and energy communication and outreach could extend the reach of Orleans' existing energy initiative. The committee agreed to review the proposal with town staff members Amanda Converse and Mark Rei before bringing it to the full committee at the July 9 regular meeting for a potential membership request to the Select Board.
