ORLEANS — Recreation Advisory Committee reviews Eldredge Park renovation with accessibility features. Consultant Regan Andreola presented design elements including an accessible pickleball court, enlarged shade areas, and LED lighting for courts. Summer programming has 657 registrations, and the committee discussed potential camp-start delays due to late school year end.
DeSiervo submitted a PARC grant that could be awarded in mid-July, and a donor has pledged $150,000 toward the project. The committee also reviewed Finch Skate Park operations, which cost $8,900 annually and are under consideration for town ownership by Orleans, Eastham, and Brewster.
