Orleans CPC closes nine heritage projects. The Community Preservation Committee voted unanimously April 2 to close nine completed preservation and housing initiatives, including French Cable, NW Schoolhouse, and Academy renovations. Chair Joan Francolini approved administrative changes requiring annual written progress reports from all grant recipients and tighter project completion timelines.

The Nauset Archeologic Project, awarded to the Tribal Preservation Office, is expected to finish in September.
