ORLEANS — Council on Aging Board approves prior minutes and learns FY27 budget is frozen. Chair Denise Dunlap and board members Bill Salem, Mark Kaminsky, and Sue Lynch unanimously approved meeting minutes from November and December 2025 while Director Judi Wilson reported that the outreach program has served 408 individuals year to date and that staff are managing ongoing projects including garden restoration, kitchen appliance replacement, and a new town vehicle purchase. The board's request for an Assistant COA Director position was denied to balance the budget, though town administration plans to seek funding in the fall using excess levy; the council also directed staff to raise transportation concerns regarding private-road access with town administration.
