Conservation Commission · Meeting of January 6, 2026

Orleans Conservation Commission continues Hinkle Lane road repair hearing, approves Cheney Road flagpole amendment. The commission deferred action on an emergency road-repair and drainage project at Hinkle Lane, proposed by Down Cape Engineering for the David Betts property, continuing the Notice of Intent hearing to January 20 to allow for additional site analysis. The commission approved an Amended Order of Conditions for Michael and Tracy Roberge at 27 Cheney Road, permitting flagpole installation and modifying time-of-year restrictions for in-water work to require silt curtain installation and April 1 completion, all approved unanimously.

The commission also approved a Certificate of Compliance for Andrew and Maria LeStage at 14 Hayward Lane for single-family dwelling construction.
