ORLEANS — Conservation Commission approves Hinkle Lane drainage work, continues three residential projects. The Orleans Conservation Commission unanimously approved a road repair and drainage installation project on Hinkle Lane with a required preconstruction meeting including the water department. Three Notice of Intent applications were continued: John H.
Ferring IV's dwelling raze and rebuild at 199 Namequoit Road to February 3, Richard J. Long and Elizabeth M. Charm's landscaping and hardscaping project at 17 Marsh Lane to February 3, and Lavender Hill LLC's dwelling removal and reconstruction at 355 Tonset Road to February 17.
The Commission also continued to February 17 an Amended Order of Conditions application from Greg and Carole Wilson for a 25-foot detached garage at 9 Nauset Road, citing concerns about structure visibility from the public view shed. The Commission unanimously authorized its chair to send a letter to the Cannabis Control Commission supporting a waiver request to redirect Positive Impact Plan contributions to the Putnam Pantry Project.
