The committee unanimously voted to waive the formal review for a 30 feet by 14.5 feet deck proposed by applicant Todd Thayer, who plans to seek Special Permit relief from the Zoning Board of Appeals. The project represents a change of use from retail to restaurant with a new sewer connection.
Multiple departments including Building, Water, Health, and Planning provided requirements and comments, including lighting conformance, water survey, Board of Health regulations for outdoor eating, and Architectural Review Committee approval for the pergola and entrances.
