Orleans Site Plan Review Committee unanimously approved a site plan for 20 new employee and workforce housing units in a new building at Seashore Park Inn, 24 Canal Road, on September 16. The panel voted 5-0-0 to approve the project with conditions including that parking adequacy be revisited if use changes, that the empty pool area remain locked, that removed Canal Road trees be replaced for sight distance, that kitchenettes meet State Housing Code standards, that parking be restricted near the office carport, that front landscaping be provided, and that stormwater calculations be submitted for Department of Public Works review.
