ORLEANS — Shellfish and Waterways committee votes to dredge Pahwah channel. Chair Craig Poosikian led the unanimous approval of the dredging process, with Ted Keon providing project perspective during the March 17 meeting. Scott Zenke updated the committee on the Mill Pond aquaculture study for nitrogen remediation and accessory dwelling unit zoning.
Natural Resources Manager Nate Sears reported Rock Harbor completion expected by Memorial Day, Goose Hummock Bulkhead by April 15, and a precautionary red tide closure at Meetinghouse Pond, while the Herring Run measured eight inches higher than the prior year.
