Commission defers Hausman coastal project hearing

Orleans Conservation Commission approves wetlands compliance, continues hearing on Hausman coastal project. The commission unanimously approved a certificate of compliance for Betsy Bentley's flood-prevention berm at 66 Tides End Ln on March 3. It also voted unanimously to continue its hearing on Ezra and Maureen Hausman's proposal for an interior landing, screened porch, new two-compartment septic tank, and two parking areas at 17 Pilgrim Lake Terrace East, deferring decision to March 17.

Chair Drusilla Henson presided; Conservation Agent John Jannell reported on both matters.
