Orleans Conservation Commission approves coastal protection, continues garage and pool applications. The Commission voted unanimously to approve a conservation restriction at 32 Locust Road to protect property in the Cape Cod Bay Area of Critical Environmental Concern, with recording required by June 30 for State grant compliance. The Eppinger garage project at 32 Hayward Lane, involving construction in the Pleasant Bay ACEC, was continued to July 7 as Commission members including Virginia Farber and Tim Payson questioned whether proposed mitigation adequately offset impacts of new structure in the protected area.

Matthew Schmidt's tree-removal application at 10 Larboard Lane was approved unanimously with conditions requiring native red maple replacements. ===END BRIEF===
