Board of Health Approves Municipal Sewer Connection Enforcement

Orleans Board of Health approves sewer connection enforcement letter for Phase 1 properties. The board unanimously approved the Board of Health Order to Connect to Municipal Sewer letter establishing a one-year compliance deadline for distribution in early March, with a vote of 4-0 to include John Nelson's contact information as a party representative. Chairman Joseph Hartung, Vice Chairman John P.
Smith, Jr., and members John Kanaga and Asa Nadeau voted in favor; Board Clerk Sims McGrath Jr. was absent. The board also unanimously approved a septic system modification at 24 Camp Road to allow installation of a half bathroom in an accessory building without increasing design flow to the existing 1978-code septic system.
