ORLEANS — The Architectural Review Committee approved a 31-panel rooftop solar installation at 20 West Road. Applicant Christopher Nashville, represented by Abe Boyle, proposed the all-black panels for the front roof after determining the rear roof lacked adequate solar exposure due to northern exposure and tree shading, while the flat roof was impractical due to existing mechanical equipment and structural constraints. The panels will have black frames with electrical conduit concealed in the attic where possible and are intended to offset a portion of the building's electrical usage.

The committee voted 4-0 to approve. In organizational business, members re-elected Kelly McCarthy as Chair and elected Andrew Miao as Vice Chair; no Clerk was appointed following the hire of a new recording secretary.
